When playing expansion, I've gotten used to quickly mousing over the armors/shields at the shop, looking for Artisan/Jeweler stuff. As I've leveled on classic, I've kept doing it out of habit.

I'm starting to wonder, however, if it's a waste of time. Are there any magical vendor armors that would have any trade value?

Probably none.

In classic, there is no "magic only" affixe, like 4 sockets on shields, or 40frw on boots.

Therefore, a rare item (3 to 6 affixes) is always superior to a magic item (1 to 2 affixes).

The only exceptions are 'Fortuitous' (+11-15% mf on rings, amulets) and 'of fortune' (+16-25%mf on rings) but that's only relevant when gambling, not shopping.
