The recent windows update changed a lot of things, try roll it back and see if it is still happening.
My brother had a change where it changed his mic from always on to always off unless changed otherwise lol.

I bet you are changing the plan for "balanced" but you are using the economic plan.

Just a question like that, did you change any hardware on your Laptop recently? If yes, it may be the cause.

When i upgraded my PC a few months back, my Windows got messed up. He was no longer going to sleep despite having it activated(with many other problems, but its outside of your original question).
I tried a lot of thing, but nothing worked. The only way i was able to fix this was by formatting my Hard Drives and reinstalling Windows 10.

No recent hardware changes. I've been running this set-up for quite some time. The issues only started recently.
I really hope I do not have to do this..

Not quite sure how to do this. I'm hoping there's a fix where I don't have to mess with anything.

Is it overheating? Sometimes PC's will shut off if they get too hot as a safety measure

Right click on the battery symbol located down left when you are on desktop. What option do you have? Which one is checked?

I'd say overheating dust etc in cents/fans or update I'd clean it none the less it you haven't , or roll it back , if all else fails reformat just my opinion sometimes it's better off to just clean it out and start new
