The Harvard study.
Currently, 36 studies have linked low IQ with fluoride in water,
some cases at relatively modest levels: Lin et al, 1991 (0.88 ppm); Ding et al, 2011
(0.3 to 3 ppm). and Xiang et al., 2003 (estimated threshold of 1.9 ppm).
A team from Harvard (Choi et al., 2012) carried out a meta analysis covering 27 of these
studies. Although they found methodological weaknesses in several of these studies,
results are remarkably consistent with IQ reduction in 26 of 27 studies
examined. The average drop is about 7 cents IQ.

Fluoridation is a bad idea that should never have been initiated.
It's a bad idea to use drinking water to distribute a drug because
a. you can not control the dose;
b. you can not control who receives the drug - he goes to everyone and
c. it violates the basic right of the individual to informed consent with respect to any
administered drug.
The essential premises on which is based on fluoridation have been refuted.
1. Fluoride is not a nutrient.
2. Fluoridated water is not a benefit for babies, it only presents
risks.
3. Even the promoters. They now recognize that the main benefit comes from
topical application, not ingestion (CDC, 1999).
