Try right clicking the Diablo 2 icon and running as administrator... hard to determine your problem with limited information.

Was it working before?
Did you just download D2?
Did you just download new antivirus?
Are you using a legitimate or cracked CD Key?

If it's truly a temp ban, they can sometimes last up to two weeks depending on what the system flagged it for. Were you entering and exiting games extremely fast, or did you try attempting to log in 10+ times in rapid succession?

I received a temp ban not too long ago, and for no real reason. I don't use third party programs, I'm hyper-aware of my game creation (I hate realm down), and I usually wait a few seconds while switching accounts. I had to wait 7 days before I was able to log back in.

Do you use a VPN while playing? If so, Deactivate it while on d2. As far as I know the system flags mysterious/hidden networks as an attempt to use bots, even though you personally might not be doing so. The joys of an automated system....

i think what happened was i was online and i closed my loptop while still in game thats most likely why

Have you tried contact Blizzard support? They might actually have a solution for you or can check it up for you.
