Get the r6 but different color. R1 if possible but you dont need 1000cc unless you actually race them

Ye i wanted a 1000cc, Yamaha r1 and i even ordered this shit, but in denmark its almost impossible to get insurance on a ''race bike'' if u are below 25.

Weird, so you’re allowed to drive one but can’t get it insured?
Here in holland you need to be 22 with 2 years of experience to drive more than 600cc, insurance is no problem

I’m not a fan of race bikes, I like adventure bikes more, currently driving a bmw 1200 adventure

Denmark seems like a country for adventure bikes too, the bmw 800 adventure is a great bike, even the non adventure model is

Big Yamaha fan here. Looks better.

Also I’ve ridden both and owned them too. R6/R1

Like others have said, unless you’re racing it the R1 isn’t really necessary and the R6 has plenty of power. You won’t regret getting it. I find it to be a more enjoyable bike. Throttling through corners is super fun.

Also anyone comparing the power of cruise bikes vs these is :bonk:
