So I got a trap strain and I went to the doctor for PT because my traps feel tight as shit now and theres knots and its affecting my neck and I guess pinching or putting pressure on my nerves.

Does this shit every go away? Is it adaptive shortening? I stopped the exercises I should be doing for a few days because I got sick and now I feel like I lost progress. Rolling on a tennis ball helps immensely.

If anyone ever experience this, any help appreciated, thanks

Real juice. Not sweetened concentrate.

Used to get this all the time when I used to lift weights incorrectly. Really gotta watch your neck position when lifting.

It really is the most uncomfortable feeling because it affects your ability to sleep and move your neck.

You can temporarily relieve pain by using a lacrosse ball and rolling the affected area.

Getting a good massage therapist is another way to help.

I'm thinking it's a posture thing.. I'm working on improving my posture right now.

So did yours ever go away?

yea posture is definitely important. if you're in a bad posture all day and then go to lift, you're at increased risk of injury for sure.

Not a real muscle. No such thing when lifting.

Rhomboids and teres are also fake.

Your back only consists of traps and lats
