What's a colour gradient and how can I learn to do the dev work for a game I didn't make?

In computer graphics, a color gradient (sometimes called a color ramp or color progression) specifies a range of position-dependent colors, usually used to fill a region. For example, many window managers allow the screen background to be specified as a gradient.

As for doing free work on a game you didn’t make....don’t bother =)

Oh great, so I have to know the input format, which was literally just ignored, there goes that idea.

Yup... asked in thread 2 or 3 times what kind of color codes the game uses. Completely ignored each time. Basically he said guess which way it’s used and provide alternatives in that format without any direction and he might consider it on SOME but not all the current map colors.

What he really meant was stop asking him to change this.

Ummm this saying does not fit the current situation.

I can’t lead the horse to water because the owner won’t provide a direction to look for the water but demands I find him water none the less or nothing will be done.

yeah i just want clarification because the orb colors are set in hex code format so it wouldnt surprise me if the game was too
