I have never played a poets pen build but I'm bored and just got dropped 2 of these.

Any recommended builds for incursion? Can they do late game content?

i had a blast with lightning warp arc and was pretty nice for endgames however I didn't do uber elder or shaper. not sure if the VD version can do these

LW/Arc for a pair (map clear)

VD/Unearth for the swap (boss kill)

I used arc+glacial cascade swap on my arc+warp build. Didn't do shaper or elder but managed to down a few guardians.

It's a very fun mapping build and there are a bunch of different ones you can make. Inquisitor, occultist, elementalist and ascendant should all be decent.

Lightning wrap + blade vortex inc aoe phys to light with himsorrow and herald of ice/thunder is sorta crazy for clear speed

hmm do you use frenzy in body armor? I also am wondering why so many poet pen users are trickster? I'm assuming some sort of synergy between indigon and trickster

Could be for indigon yea.

My setup for frenzy is just a 2 link, I can put it anywhere. I'm not indigon.

The rest are CWDT setups with spells that have frequent small hits since I'm using life gain on hit with spell rings.

Been doing shaper/uber elder rather easily.

easy but def slower than elehit and traps

so if your goal is farming uber elder then no reason to roll it

I currently have an elehit doing super lategame stuff but im getting real bored with it, as i did with my ms jugg and my bv elementalist. I have heard poet pens are really fun but having 0 experience with them i thought i would ask around see how it is supposed to run

I still want to be able to do late game things but i would understand if it wasnt as op as elehit and traps atm
