So ever since I downloaded d2 a week or 2 ago I randomly have been getting this error.
It is NOT R/d or temp restriction.

Like 2-3 months ago I did install Path of Diablo on this pc but I deleted every bit of download that was left from it

I've been getting it since I first downloaded it, hence I was not playing before I got it.
Randomly it'll stop and then I can play again.
But now I can't get on at all.
I haven't been on in over 12 hours and I still get this message.
I downloaded the game with my firewall off so there was no issues with the download.


Any help will be nice.

Okay topic got moved, still need

You'll need to completely uninstall, go into your registry and delete any & all "path of diablo" & Battle.net files.

So first, go to control panel and uninstall the game completely.

Then follow the steps below;

1) Hit the windows key + R
2) Type regedit, hit enter
3) Hit ctrl + F
4) Type "path of diablo", hit enter
5) Remove (delete) anything that comes up
6) Repeat steps 3 through 5 until nothing more comes up

Repeat the above steps (1-6) but with step 4 type "Diablo" instead.

Afterwards reinstall Diablo using this method - http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=77055164

I've done this already. Twice actually.

Do u get that message only on 1 realm or on every realm ?

Only 1 realm. I can log on to Europe and stuff but not east



Edit: I've factory reset my laptop and reinstalled d2 and I still get the error

Have u tried entering from other place with different IP to see if u can login East so we can ignore that the problem is IP related!
NOTE: Dont try loggin frim VPN/Proxy which will make things wost but try only from a real IP - ( Friend's house, local caffe , ect...)

I will tell you what it is. Its an IP ban. I promise you 100%. I been dealing with this for months.

You either have to wait it out or get on a VPN.

Trust me.

Okay but I got this when I first installed the game and I hadn't even played in months
And I did use a VPN



Currently using someone else's WiFi is impossible. Would a phone hotspot work?
