Now, on to important things. I didn't expect this to be tied after the first 12 hours. To be fair, I started both characters since fire Paladin is e-z mode in normal and I figured leveling the MA Zon would be work (it is). I'll park both of them in A2 unless there is a clear winner in the poll.

Weapon ideas on the Zon?

Ideal ofc is a Faith GMB, but this is SP, so I can't just go buy one.

What I'm thinking is something like this:

Normal
Cheap and easy: Zephyr in a Hunter Bow/Composite Bow/Ama Bow
If I find it: Rogue's Bow

Nightmare
Cheap'ish and Easy'ish: Harmony in a decent damage bow
If I find it: Riphook or Buriza (ofc)

I figure fastest attack bow possible with the highest possible ED. For normal, the fastest attack bow possible period. If the internets is correct, MA adds the +damage modifier before ED and the +magic modifier after all damage has been calculated. So a white hunter bow with 20 MA (all points to MA first) should do 26 + 5.2 magic damage. Zephyr should do between 34+6 (Hunter bow) and 37+7 (Composite bow).

I'm also debating whether it's better to go with a 3 Ral'd Hunter bow after Countess or a 3 Ith'd Hunter bow. A 3 Ith'd Hunter by the end of A1 should do 43 + 7 max damage (6 bow + 27 Ith + 18 MA), which may be a better spread then 15-90 fire damage. (Of course, if I was going with a multi arrow approach, I'd just go with 3 Tals and poison EVERYTHING including darrajuju.)

It's been 24 hours and we are still tied. If we stayed tied by 2100 US CST, then I'm going with the paladin because they are easy mode until A4 NM.

Avenger is easy mode?

There is no way I'll do an avenger until getting a decent weapon.



Which is somewhat of the appeal of MA Zon since I can start and end with one skill.
