I know cyclone is primarily dominated by 2h disfavor/starforge non crit builds, but in practicality, how would a 1h foil crit based cyclone build be?

I was messing around in pob, with initially a raider/slayer ascendant class, and while it has more movement speed, a champion variant has more dps.

Champion i have 658k dps 73% crit chance (shaper dps, no flasks, no bronns using belly)
Slayer/raider i have 468k dps 76% crit chance, less damage, but of course overleech, more movement speed and more reliable frenzy charge sustain vs end game bosses.

Any one have personal experience or knowledge as to which would be better to run?

Are you going for 1h+shield or 1h+stat?
Why not gladiator with lyco?

Great aoe clear, high block and enough damage.

Well nn lyco because dual wielding foils has way better dps/champ has free 100% accuracy and stat sticks cant be used with cyclone because it cycles between equipped weapons lol, so a combined 80ish phys as extra x stat stick is moot.

Also, champ>glad in terms of damage, with very respectable defenses, utilizing 3 endurance charges, perma fortify and ~13k armor

If you just wanna map with it, try esh's mirror and inpulsas with an vagan foil on an elementalist.

why do ppl say champ has free 100% accuracy

dont u have to land a hit to apply the taunt?

that first hit has a chance to miss, and miss several times

93% hit chance before ticking the ascendancy node, and with 10+ aps, im not worried missing the initial first, or second hit.

When dual wielding, each weapon hits once per spin.


what about 1ste hit short whirls, First Hit deals 50% less Damage

Solution: dont short whirl 😂

Side note:

Pob shaper dps of 1.4m seems really good for a 1h crit build, completely blows 2h out the water, while still have 6500 life, on a jugg/slayer ascendant with 74% crit. Cant wait to test it out
