ofc u can play this on hc. and if not get more DR in your build as i mentioned in other topic. u don't have to follow this build exact if ur gameplay is rusty/inexperienced

Got the SoE and put together gear as outlined.
two issues bugging me:
Merc isn’t always with me. Read this in an earlier post too. She doesn’t do a great job of keeping up. The build is so reliant on my merc’s faith, it’s a bit frustrating. Any suggestions? Give her frw gear and light armor (this is a stretch I know)

Mana burn. I pot to deal with this. Yuck.

I enjoy the challenge of knowing I could die with this build. Part of the fun. But a bit more survivability at cost of kill speed would be fine for me.

yes: dont use archer

get nm offensive merc and give him ereapers with shael, gulli with cham and treachery

swap shitty forty to enigma too

Umm... good question... I have never thought about this. I do recall during my noob days when I had an IK barb, my merc equipped by eth-reaper's toll + ral andy + high def fort could completely protect me all on his own. This could be an option, versus a faith merc or a pride merc.

Thank you for the guide, cool build! I’m currently leveling a frenzy Barb in SP with no ladder runewords. What would your ideal setup look like without the ladder RWs? I’m using an Upped Butchers Pupil and Kingslayer for now.

Unless you're doing a walkthrough on sp and purposely avoiding ladder runewords, I'd honestly just enable them via the excel folder.

i disagree on the use of ettin axe to get a better avg dmg

ba have a better range and will be waaaay better killing

This Barb is an absolute slaying machine.

This blows ANY Frenzy build I have ever tried.
