I like trap doors, I like spins. I want spins to only take us to unexplored area. That would be keeeeeennnnn :banana:

There is nothing more frustrating then taking 20 Minutes to waste time driving on already explored only to get spun AGAIN 2 steps into new unexplored territory

Oh yeah???
How about doing a 20 minute maze clearing and falling though a Trap Door with one or 2 squares left??
I can live with spins. Trap doors make me think evil thoughts

This. Spending a couple hours at higher levels clearing a maze, only to fall with very few spaces left is crushing. Fuckin way she goes though.

I almost never complete lvl 10 above cata mazes, still get angry thoughts when I fall through TD.
(Why was I happily jumping down 3+ when I was mqing on an int chain, but now a 90ee scale and I'm too good for it? Lol :wallbash: )

Another new version update/change:

- Scaling of catacomb size now starts at 5x5 increasing to the same max of 40x25. This is a change from the starting size of 10x10. Scaling still reaches the maximum size around level 74/75.

wow that's insanely small maps to do very early on :D

I think this will be more fun, especially at starting levels.

Update: Basic combat is working! Weapon attacks calculate damage and such, woot!

how about doing the scaling more aggressively towards the higher levels? to have rather small maps at the lower levels (up to 25-35 or so) and then have a lot bigger maps every 5 levels up to 70 (/71)?

you already do that by starting from a smaller size and ending up in the same size, but maybe the scaling could be a bit different, shifted towards the higher levels, too
