everyone always says im an idiot and admittedly I have no formal education its sports performance but when I was training for a triathlon I did a ton of sprint work. instead of running 5, 8, or 10 miles I would find a bigass hill, sprint up it as fast as possible, jog down, and sprint up again. for like 20 minutes. that was the majority of my running training and I did the best in the running portion

after you acclimatize to blowing your lungs out sprinting jogging even at a good pace feels like you're not even working. it's also more time efficient

You unintentionally were doing HiiT training, which is actually one the best kind of cardio training for weight loss. Probably not the greatest for long distance, but a mile and a half isn't really long distance

I haven't ever ran mid-distance and longer, at all

But that’s fine, I've never gotten laid and likely won't for the foreseeable future.

Got it, thanks.

start running 2-3 miles

This will build your fitness and eventually running 1.5 will be MUCH easier

2 weeks isn't ideal, but it's doable if you're almost there by 10-15 seconds.
Focus on increasing total distance ran over the next week and a half. In the next 10 days shoot to run at least 4 or 5 times, and look to improve your overall distance and breathing/form.
Take 3 days off prior to testing and make sure the night before you eat a heavy carb meal.

1.5 miles won't do anything to deplete glycogen and honestly you can't do much in 2 weeks that you shouldn't have been doing earlier. But if you're this close you'l be alright.

I simulated the test today and my results were..
57 pushups
41 sit ups
11:47 run (treadmill though..)
55 sec 300m

I would PASS with these results but still hoping for much better
The treadmill seems easier than the track every time for some reason?

Treadmill is very bad to accurately pace yourself.
Just beat pavement in general if you wanna run

I've put in about 750km ytd and I always run outside. Ihave however done treadmill once last week and then again today (7 miles tempo) and I find that my avg pace per mile is easily 1m15s better on the treadmill (based on HR effort). Theres no variation of elevation on the treadmill and it forces you into a constant.

Just go in hard on test day bud....itll be willpower that gets you there. Any training leading up to this at this juncture is less likely to help you versus rest.
