I have a pretty nice Gaming PC i built a little while back, fresh install of windows 10.
The PC will Randomly Freeze/Lock forcing a Hard-shut down is the only way to get the PC off, then back on.
the screen/mouse pointer and whatever was running freezes completely in place & will not respond to anything.
Completely random, could be watching youtube, twitch, playing a game on steam or battle.net ect.
Not sure why this is happening & i didn't see anything in my Event Viewer, yet im not completely sure if im looking in the right place..
i have updated 100% of the drivers i could think of, ran an auto-detecting & installing driver application.

PC SPECS:
MOBO~ Gigabyte z170x GA G1 Gaming 7
CPU~ intel i7-6700k @ stock speed
Cooler~ Corsair H100i v2 water cooler
Memory~ G.Skill Ripjaw V series DDR4 16 gb
GPU~ Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070 founders ed.
Storage~ Samsung Evo 250 Gb SSD & Western Digital 1Tb HDD
Power Supply~ Corsair 750 RMx Fully modular

HELP?!?!

temps are fine - at this point im looking at hardware, but have no idea what else it could be software wise.

which drivers did you update?
where is ur page file located if you have one?
check memory with memtestx86
scan hdd with hdtune on full scan for errors.

start there before we have you ripping out hardware

if no errors then not hd
memtest needs to be run at some point unless the next step resolves it.
update drivers manually from...
