Should i buy a 1060 6gb right now or wait ~2months for new generation? (dont need anything above 1060 6gb since its already overkill for my needs)

If you can wait, wait for the next-gen. 2 months away from nVidia reference 1180, but it’ll likely be November before 3rd party (ASUS/MSI etc.) 1160s are out.
