I have PM'd a few people who have shown interest so I thought I would just come out of the shadows and announce it publicly:

The cool thing to do this ladder is to build vlld characters! It's a lot more casual and less competitive than level 30 dueling. Not to mention cuter.

I can eventually build some shared vlld MFers for you lazy people. Probably a norm andy glitcher, tomb clearer, a vlld jewelry gambler and a GF barb. But those won't come for a little bit so try to at least make your own norm andy glitcher asap and get hunting for those jewels! (you can complete a normal andy glitcher within the first day of ladder easily)

If you are interested but also a total noob to vlld, you can pm me or thesnipa, post here, or check the guides for some build ideas.

I have a crappy vlld on NL you can test against, and I'll be level 9ing on the new ladder as well! Going to start out with a simple easy-to-gear character, but hopefully by mid-lad I'll be able to make a real vlld! My goal is to start off with a Sigon's kicker and eventually make a Sacrifice barb.

I will make some shared vlld MFers but it will take some time before I have them up. My priority will be completing my personal vlld MFer and my first vlld. I guess we will see you in the new ladder then!

After some time, I'd like to host a vlld ranking topic where you can only challenge 1 person ahead of you, forcing you to climb through everyone to make it to the top! It will surely be dead as hell and maybe under 5 participants. But I want to do it anyways!

I am in, vlld item hunting and dueling fits my small amount of gaming time quite well.

I'll most likely make a few spare andy glitchers to share out as well!

My item hunter is going to be a really fun project char as well, going with a dual lawbringer barb tomb hunter with mass frw and vigor on a1 merc with harmony. should kill all undeads in 1 flash of aura while also pushing them all back up the corridors. only stop to hork bosspacks and 1 WW kills all non-undeads if the merc hasn't gotten them all by that point. should be a fun passive mfer and tombs are a hell of a good ilvl for all things vlld

my actual vlld is most likely to be a sac, BoS, blade sentinel sin. a build i've wanted to try for some time now.

ranged vlld, at least for some fun ffa's is going to be something i want to try as well once we get a few people with chars.
