Hey everyone,

i'm playing DS2 SotfS on PS4 at the moment.
It's my first walkthrough, normal difficulty (no ng+ or something).

I have caught the 4 big souls now (sinner, old iron king, freya and that butcher-like demon in the black hole) and "hugged" those big souls.
I walked to the winter shrine but the door won't open. It says I need the symbol or sign of the king.

So what am I gonna do now? Did i miss anything? It's the normal next step in a casual playthrough to go to the winter shrine, isnt it?

Thx for any help in forward

Ring of the king. Its by vendrick the giant that is just walking in circles that isnt hostile. At the bottom of the long stairs, in a dead end room.(same room as vendrick)

Yeah, thanks!

It was misleading, I thought the entrance to the Winter shrine is at that mentioned point but it was somewhere before on the left side. I'm now at the Drangleic Castle :)

You need to play DS1 Remaster, then DS3, then Bloodborne.

Asap.

You need to become part of the family who has experienced it all + the dlcs.

After you finish 2 ofc.

This.
And even if someone had played 1/3/bb I'd still tell them to play 2.
I rather like it.

Yes DS2 had its own personal feel to it, not a bad way to start.
