im pretty sure oled displays cants go over 60hz.. high hz is for gaming imo, so no if u dont game there is no reason to get it..

there is no real 144hz 4k monitors out yet - i think this will be the first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-7IXNLeY3c

i have a 4k 200hz tv, but its TV hz... fake hz.. not the real thing

Sure they can, I know some LG models have native 120hz. Having no issue running 1080p 120hz over HDMI. The problem is in the HDMI 2.0 which doesn't have the bandwidth to run 4k at 120hz.

My KS7000 runs 120hz native. The "fake" hz you are refering to is interpolation.
Btw the pg27uq should be release the 29th this month. It's all over the webshops here in DK.

I use this to compared and check TV specs. It will show native refresh rate

The new ROG phone also has an OLED display which is running at 90hz. The type of backlight doesn't set the limitation of the display.

Indeed 90% of the TVs out there will be advertised as something like 200hz Motion rate/Trumotion (Name different from brand to brand). This is just interpolation, where it guess which picture will be next.
This is freaking horrible for gaming. But there are more expensive TVs which has a true refresh rate.

Yeah it's unbelievably expensive. Hopefully the 200hz 1440p HDR monitor will considerably cheaper.
It's 1k cheaper on something like komplett: https://www.komplett.dk/product/1004761/gaming/skaerm-tilbehoer/skaerme/asus-27-led-4k-g-sync-pg27uq?utm_source=pricerunner&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pricerunner
You need to factor in this price is with our 25% taxes + like 5% import expenses. We do earn a higher salary and the health system, education system etc is free.

10 years from now we'll all be looking at 60hz panels like we do traditional hard disks :p

120+ hz from 60hz is like going from HDD to SSD
Can't go back after you've been exposed to it

I mean CRT monitors used to do 100+ hz then flat panels came out and were all 60hz for a while... feels like we're going full circle
