Are higher refresh rate monitors/TVs worth the money if you don't game at all? I'd be using it only for work (Got to play around with a BenQ today that had 144hz and I liked having the mouse cursor be very smooth when moving around the desktop)

Ideally I'd like to get a display with these specs:
30" or bigger
4k res
120hz or higher

Seems like my only option would be to find a 4k TV that has a 120hz HDMI input?
I see 27" 4k 144hz gaming monitors are out, but those are too small for using at 100% scaling.

Some googlling... and I don't think the display I want exists yet

Per this chart
https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/input-lag

Doesn't look like any TVs out on the market do 4K @ 120hz input

Ya but for TVs I think they mostly say 120hz as advertisement for the panel itself, the HDMI input doesn't support 4k @ 120hz?

My Samsung KS7000 has a true 120hz panel, no motion interpolation involved in these numbers. (can be turned on for effective 240hz+)
And there are a huge difference on this vs my cheaper LG UH630V which is 60hz.

BFGD's are coming out very soon

Eh if you literally don't game then moving your mouse curser and dragging windows across yous screen would look smoother, thats it.

No benefit from movies, shows content creation ect. Better off buying a 60HZ fancy panel with good colors like IPS or if you have the $$$$ Oled.
d, IPS.
most high refresh rate monitors are TN or VA which look like trash but do well in gaming.

I’m looking at hdmi specs and 4k@120hz over hdmi isn’t supported yet

Need to wait for hdmi 2.1 to come out

Imagine a 4k oled 120hz tv you can connect from your pc
