I mentioned to few guys that i wanted to do this and that i would be posting very early to try and spark interest.

I'd like to host a 5k buy-in Fantasy pool, as we are growing up and moving on to bigger and better things, I think it's time to elevate the rake.

2.5k or 5k is the topic of discussion along with rules and team limits.

while I enjoy our penny/ dollar games and will continue to play them, I think there's at least 10 guys who can afford to drop $50 for a real nail biting experience.

Was thinking a yahoo fantasy league like we did for the 1k game.

I'm in one that has 3 keepers. It's been okay. Means more good players rotate around every season, so it's not like you are doomed with some shitty choices for forever.
You could make the number higher, but I'd strongly suggest a season limit then, so the game would stay more interesting and the top talent wouldn't be locked away all the time.
Also, 5k every year.Would need committed players for a the first few season's at least to get it going properly.
