alright. here's what i already have purchased.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xKhKq4

here is what i have planned to add-on already.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zWCDjy

a couple questions about my picks.
i have 2 versions of RAM listed. one with 16-18-18-38 timing, the other with 14-14-14-34.
would the difference be notable enough to justify an extra $50 on 2 sticks? or should i just save the cash here?
i plan to double up in the future, so plan 1 stack removed and whichever set i decide to take it's place.

it stays rather cool where i am at. although humidity is higher than most places.
it gets warmer in the winter because of heat being on, it is also much dryer inside at that time though.
i wasn't planning to delid the cpu, is why i bring this up.

1 thing to note is that the internal HDD i'm planning to purchase is the 4tb model. it's not listing on pcpartpickers though

i am not certain what i am going to do about a monitor yet. i don't think i can budget that in immediately anyway though.
because of this, i'll be waiting on the power-supply as well. i may have to bump to the 850 or higher pending what all i decide to add on finish.

i was leaning towards no, at least since RAM is generally so costly right now.

i have to wonder though, are these the same sticks with different stock settings? or are these 2 completely different sticks that both may be adjusted even tighter?

you can try to tighten the timings yourself, the main diff is that one is rated for it the one you got won't be so there's no guarantees.
The difference in performance won't be detectable though so it doesn't really matter.
