Participation is at it's lowest right now but I still recommend my movie.
Always been a fan of Disney movies and I liked their animation as a kid. As I got more interested in movies I always heard: "you need to watch the Studio Ghibli movies". So I did and was blown away.
Princess Mononoke is without a doubt my favorite animated movie of all time.
It has some interesting themes. Like many Miyazaki Movies it's about the constant battle between humans and nature and what has to be sacrificed for the developement of a society.

So maybe 1 or 2 people are going to watch it. Still love it and rewatch it probably once or twice a year. The soundtrack is killer and always gives me goosebumps just hearing it.

I hope participation was low because some asshole decided to hijack the thread last time. That's why I didn't participate. I'll be here for this though. I'll keep going as long as even 1 other person wants to.

Hopefully no one is put off by this being anime, it is actually a fantastic film...as is everything by Studio Ghibli.

Classic, Great choice!

Such a good movie. The contrast between nature and man's creation of industry must have been so impactful on Miyazaki growing up in a post-ww2 Japan.
