the top muters will get all the benefit. the mid-level muters will never be able to catch them

interesting idea though. id need more convincing either way

what about double the time for a mute + double the profs. so the essence making makes up for essence making + spending it prior

doesn't matter to me which way you go on this i will still be transmuting

If this goes towards the change you might be able to sell the 25+ ess for a premium since nobody else can create them without skilling

I think adding 50% mute duration and +100% prof per item or so would be awesome to even out the amount of items needed to rank up

another thing I would like to see is a significant decrease in time when you try to mute something way below your rank, like level 30s on rank 50+ for example, they still take like 2 minutes

Now that I have read this (in addition to seeing Paul post an intent to move on it) I would definitely support it. No, I am not a top level muter, but I think it is BAT SHIT GODDAMN RIDICULOUS, that I can be 30+ muting able to roll up to level 35 items and yet level 10/15/20s still take FOREVER to roll with no gain (since chance to roll good stats is so low). I would give up rolling mutes for prof, because honestly it would let me focus on climbing to snag stuff and throw in a vault and strip items later on for prof. Being able to instantly burn through a shit ton of items and maybe roll something good for profit (or even sell some of my essences) versus getting prof that can instantly bore the hell out of me? I'm sold.

IMO great idea I could bring more PPL back again and ofc voted yes

And to give more profit to top muters there could be additional ML bonus which will grant you higher chance for higher stats roll so years of work will give them higher chance for better items roll.
