You could give guild members ranks which are racist/discriminating or whatever. While they are not able to see it because they simply don’t have the permission to change rank settings or because you removed the column for ranks with your suggestion.
Also if you uncheck all options the entire guild list would be completely empty and would look like an unfinished lackluster.
If no one can see this discriminating rank then why is it important? It is basically same as insulting someone in thoughts. 
I would say judgement on looks is subjective and would be nice to have choice to modify it to what looks good in my eyes. Instead of having page full of lackcluster of unimportant content what it is right now.
I value your opinion and second point is pretty valid but still subjective. If this site would update by that mentality, we would have no orbs, themes or anything.
