I'm pretty set on getting a C7 but the price for that C6 is tempting. Especially if I want to build it into something more fun.
The C6 is a far better platform to build on. If the trans still shifts good keep driving it. You don't want to go through pulling it out until you have to imo. The TR6060 in the base models is plenty strong and quite durable. You are looking at about $1500-$1800 for a full trans rebuild + labor to pull it and install it if you don't do it yourself.
