Bought 2 gold fish at the same time.

I have a 10 gallon hexagon tank filtered etc.

One goldfish is less than an inch big (both started out like this)

The other goldfish is still growing and is about 10-15x the size as the other one.


Could it be a different species ?

the one is eating all the food

you should watch them eat while you feed them. see if the bigger one is dominating for all the food for itself.

Should have a 65 gallon + for two gold fish. They grow to the size of footballs.
