Can't do anything. It freezes and shuts everything down because of lack of memory. I have almost 1gb of space.

upgrade to 2gb
or load a smaller OS on it, like a linux distro, puppy/lubuntu etc

Im not looking to put any $$ into it. Really only wanted to run d2 and use to surf web, use microsoft office.

Which OS are you running? Windows XP will use little memory and do what you need, just don't do/store anything personal on it.

Gl with that, I ditched windows on it for a reason.

I mean 1gb ain't shit these days for anything. Browser alone will eat up most of your resources in windows.
d2 will get 10 fps if your lucky on single player offline mode.
Without a Broadcom Crystal HD Decoder even youtube struggles these days on them.

I have my netbook still and It serves a roll but I did upgrade it to keep it alive all these years,
Also made sure to get a model that could have its gpu unlocked for gaming/2gb ram/boosted wifi to 16db and the hd encoder on a light OS.
