Homosexuality is an abomination.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Brazil enjoy many of the same legal protections available to non-LGBT people, with LGBT people having marriage rights available nationwide since May 2013.

On May 5, 2011, the Supreme Federal Court voted in favour of allowing same-sex couples the same 112 legal rights as married couples. The decision was approved by 10–0 with one abstention – one justice abstained because he had spoken publicly in favor of same-sex unions when he was attorney general. The ruling gave same-sex couples in stable partnerships the same financial and social rights enjoyed by those in opposite-sex relationships.

that status was built in 1922... We are now in 2018 and that big Jesus is just a national monument now. People don't care

Forget doctor’s orders. Vitor Belfort was determined to make his final walk to the Octagon.

Sources confirmed with MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz that “The Phenom” suffered an injury to his left knee in the first week of camp preparing for UFC 224, which took place last Saturday at the Jeunesse Arena in his home city of Rio de Janeiro.

News of the injury was first reported by Combate.

Belfort, 41, would go on to lose by second-round knockout to fellow Brazilian star Lyoto Machida. Afterwards, the former UFC light heavyweight champion laid his gloves down in the Octagon and declared his retirement, as was expected, signaling the end of an MMA career that began in 1996.

Sources told Cruz that Belfort was advised by multiple doctors to pull out, but he made the call to fight despite being injured. It is still being decided whether he will undergo surgery on his knee.

UFC 224 - 85,000 ppv buys - worst in modern mma. To put it in perspective UFC 1 did 86,000 and there hasn't been a lower selling ppv since UFC 49 Couture v. Belfort II which did 80k

The free prelim also had barely over half the viewership of the other 2018 prelims

Yeah, and the guy who talked about the tv-deal says the UFC is fine and talent is spread wider now :D

Fertitta brothers didn't pull out without a good reason.
