I play this everyday. currently lvl 61 with alpha team of gamora, xbones, quake, drax, and captain

How are you doing with early game squad combo at this point?
Interesting to hear from someone who didn't reform team

Most modes i'm doing OK. Can't for the life of me beat elite tier events such as nexus 5-9. For a relatively high lvl, I'm still learning how to play really

How are you doing with that team?

I haven't seen that team in arena since lvl 55's or so

KP, Yondu and Nobu on 1 team? thoughts?

KP & Yondu work wonders together.
Yondu & Nobu work well together.

Add HS to that and its gonna be nice af

I agree HS, KP and Nobu are awesome together.

I saw a video today where they were discussing the next two champs to be nerfed and those will be Xbones and Yondu. So please check into that before putting too much more into Yondu.


BTW - SDGoD haha I have been using my GotG team (Starlord, Rocket, Groot, Gamora and Drax). That team has sooo much synergy it's a lot of fun. I know it's not meta for the arena but for stuff like Blitz and Raids it's been awesome. So many assists leading to so much dmg

I didn't get starlord sadly so no GotG team for me!

The people I face in arena (top 400ish ) all use basically quake/yondu/drax/xbones/gamora on their defense but they are really easy to beat with captain/yondu/quake/xbones/gamora. (my main team currently)

I dont really get why they all use that team for defense. Basically xbones never gets his ult off and he dies way easier than other tanks, so hes essentially a 2 turn taunt that dies no matter what. Quake usually just gets her dispel off first turn and is slowed the rest of the game so if shes lucky she MIGHT slow someone. drax basically just forces me to waste my first turn gamora regular attack which doesnt matter at all.

I think since I started relatively recently and am still only around rank 400 the teams im fighting are going to be different than the HS meta that's happening at the top but I personally just switched my defense to: Captain/hawkeye/gamora/korath/yondu and I pretty much never lose ranks anymore. When I used quake and xbones on defense I would lose tons of ranks every day even though quake was my strongest character and xbones was #4. they just seem too easy to counter on defense at this rank.

This probably wont really help anyone but if there's anyone who is around my rank and is seeing the same teams as I am it might be something to think about.

There are teams in my arena that guarantee Xbones ult such as

Hand Sentry, Vision, Kingpin, Xbones and Black Widow.

That is a really strong team right now.
