The whole show pushes a lot of boundaries of right and wrong and after two episodes, I definitely have never said WTF so many times in any show or movie. It's HBO so I have high hopes ofc, but I'm on the edge of my seat and I can't fucking wait for more. I might actually try and stay away from the show for 3-4 weeks though. This week-to-week shit is killing me with how good it is and I feel like I need to be able to binge a little bit.

It's a failing with public schooling. I never learned about it until an elective history class my senior year of highschool that was specifically about those types of incidents. The worst part is we'll never truly know the full extent of what happened because it was under reported and downplayed. Most discussions I've seen about it have been people never knowing it existed. Only people that really knew about it were people from the area that happened to have a local history class on it.

Overall a pretty good episode. I'd love for some more elaboration though. I can see that they're trying to unravel things slowly, but I do hope we get some more background info soon so that the connections between the plot threads become more clear.

Loved the hidden callbacks to the comics again. Also the American Hero Story pretty much copying Snyder's filming style.

Another what the fuck episode with a dr. manhattan super electro dildo, rorschach'esque monologues and a very nice nod to the tales of the black freighter (a comic book inside the watchmen universe)

Interesting that Laurie took on her father's name and is now completely disillusioned by the masks. I figured they would've shoe horned her in, but the way they introduced her was great.

And it looks like the senator may have staged that attack in case something went wrong or to drum up support. Or someone else did it to destroy any evidence that may have been present on Judd's body.

I'm gonna have to see this series.

I was apprehensive about a Watchmen series but everything I've read about it has been very positive and seems like it respects the source material while making its own story.

I loved The Watchmen and the movie was great as well.
