The movie is by far my fav DC adaptation to date.


Apprehensive but still excited about this one. Glad it's HBO, written by Lindelof (lost) who says it'll be quite different from the movie.

Oh man I'm not looking forward to this at all.

Lost was so fucking bad, I can only assume that means Lindelof will ruin this.

Saying it will be nothing like the movie just cements that even more because the movie was basically a panel for panel remake of the comic, except for the ending... Which the movie made drastically better.

The movie didn't deviate much at all from the source material and imo it's excellent. Trying something new is risky.

Lost was hit/miss some of it was amazing but it crashed and burned hard after a few seasons.

Still can't help but get excited about it though.

Honestly I can't really imagine better casting choices as well. Everything seems stacked against this tbh. I am not even sure how they are going to have enough material for a full season, let alone multiple.

It will just be a new story in an established universe I guess if they're planning several seasons.

I'm very interested in this. Movie was fantastic, hopefully the series can follow suit.

He did do The Leftovers, which was a very intruiging television series.
