Also failing to mention the loss of Zeke for 6 games, injured offensive linemen, and bad play calling.

I absolutely get what you're saying, but if you told me a 4th round pick qb would put up 22:13 in his second year I still would have said sign me up...

I thought that was implied when I said asked to make plays in year 2

I mean everything lined up perfectly for him year 1. More likely year 2 happens than year 1.

I mean, Kirk just put up better numbers when every offensive single starter besides him missed significant time... and cowboys fans wanna say he's not good

Edit: just to add - I don't want dez. I just saw he wants to play in the NFC east... I know Bruce is going to pursue him because #redskins.... but I think the team that makes the most sense would be the Giants of the 3

This is a pretty important factor.

I doubt the bad play calling will change all that much, this is Dallas we're talking about, but Zeke is a fucking MASSIVE weapon and how much he opens up the passing game should not be at all underestimated. We'll see how Dak does in his third year, but he definitely did show some regressing (as MANY QBs do) in his sophomore year, but there was a variety of factors. We'll see what happens, but I'm not ready to think he doesn't have what it takes, because even his bad year wasn't that bad.

And I am also not ready to assume he DOES HAVE what it takes. Who the fuck knows if he will be a franchise qb? Not me lol. Thus far he has massively surpassed expectations. I don't judge qbs after 2 years of play.

Also, Zeke is an amazing blocker. That is what I love about him most. Our other backs played decent for those 6 games, but none of them can block for shitttt.

Meh. I'll change my original statement. I thought after year 2 Kirk was trash and rg3 had more of a chance to pan out than Kirk did.... and look how that turned out lol

My 'opinion' is that dak will not but like you said I will not rule it out.

Sucks it happened but it needed to happen.

Horrible production the last three years and the team is going in a different direction.

No clue why people say it's Daks fault

Bittersweet departure for sure. He was an amazing weapon for us for years. Won't miss his shitty attitude though.
