I feel like they'd fuck up on w/e storyline they went for sure (because they always do these days), but they could at least get the gameplay down. All you gotta do is have a similar layout. You start on x planet as a nobody, you get through gaining teammates and battling your way to your next goal. Eventually, you learn that you're able to become a jedi (maybe even make this optional, like you can do a sidequest on a jedi academy to become one, but you don't 100% have to), and then you for some reason have to go to 3-5 different places to defeat someone or collect items/information (but you decide the order in which you go), and then you go to your final destination and beat the game. Just plug in all the bullshit, add a bunch of new weapons, enemies, upgrade items, optional characters/sidequests with stunning graphics and you're good to go.
