you can trade dropped item with your party. it's cool.
it is totally viable in solo tho

That's not trading. That's giving away something for free - don't they put a timer on how long you can drop an item in game?

it's trading, i give you an item trading it with an item from you.
you are free to give it as a gift tho, but it's your choise...
the timer is ok, you must be fast in order to catch opportunities

for an actual "Trade" to take place the following things need to happen:

1) 2 Players must be in the same game
2) Player A must find a valuable item that he doesn't want/need
3) Player B must find a valuable item that he doesn't want/need
4) Player A must want Player B's item and vice versa.
5) All this must take place within the timer limit - which is 1 hr i think? could be wrong.

Smart loot also limits the possibility of this because items are spoon fed to you with the stats your character desires.

There isn't legitimate trading in D3. It's an online only hack n slash game that doesn't allow for trading.

It's a shit concept and a shit game. Account bound items are a jooooooooke.

So what about your friend who is logged off and you want to save an item for him? What about you finding something that you don't need, but is rare/worth a lot and want to sell it, so you can then buy what you need?

Core aRPG values just completely wiped from the game, it's pretty sad. Even Ladder Slasher does it better.

Looks like the multis are mad this game has trading lol.

I've never had an issue trading on D3.

Nobody trades in their party.
You give people stuff you don't need yourself because items have no value.
Especially in this game where parties are almost always made of people in the same clan or between friends because of the garbage matchmaking system.

You haven't had any issues because you can't freaking trade.

LOL.

2 hour trade limit for party members only != trading

that's not called trading, that's called torture and bad game design.
