I've built my last couple PC's on carpet while wearing sweatpants. You should be fine as long as you aren't intentionally building up static.

psu is definitely one of the complex parts of a build but doesn't stay that way. as above said it's the cable management that is difficult mine still is trash

another hard part for people is probably seating the cpu and trying not to electroshock it and destroy it by accident.

So I got my PSU, and I’m trying to unplug the old one, but I don’t know how much the mobo can take. I’m trying to unplug the big (24..?) pin plug and it’s not wanting to come out. And yes I’m making sure the latch is pushed to unlatch it.

Also, how do I get this off...? I need to feed wires in here? Or is it just a place to feed extra wire?

wiggle it end to end gently. It will be hard to get out.

Ok. So I got all cords unplugged and out except this fucker. How do i get it out??
