I think he just tries overcoaching a lot of the time. He seems to carry a lot of positive energy with him at all times, and I believe the players do enjoy playing for him. I feel like if he focus on just keeping the team morale up and less on these dumbass in game moves. He needs some help from an assistant coach to tell him wtf to do with the pen geez lol

So his best idea was to take out Franco and move our best defensive SS to 3B and sub in Kingery who is dogshit at SS so far.

Instead of making the obvious defensive sub that is Hoskins in LF.

Now we have another blown save because the bullpen is dogshit and so is Hoskins in LF, but that's not his fault. Our fucking GM signed a 60mil 1B.

Oh

and he brings in the clown who blew the game vs the Cubs via a Grandslam to try and get the last out in a 4-3 game.

I agree that he is making a lot of terrible decisions, but you have to leave your best offensive player in a 2 run game. Were you not ripping him for the same decision back on opening night when he did take him out lol

If he wants to hold a tight lead with defensive substitutions then he has to take out Hoskins, our worst defensive player by far. Any other OF makes those weak outs the cardinals had for hits in the 9th yesterday.

But my main issue is he takes out Franco to bring in Kingery to play SS who has been dogshit there and moves our best defensive SS to play 3B as his defensive substitution. Makes the defense and offense worse. Makes no sense.

If you want offense then don’t bring in Kingery. If you want more defense then Franco isn’t the guy you take out either.
