that is heavily overpriced mate when i can buy one offf market for 100 pounds.. try 13000 mby
To provide the math I've used:
One key = 2.61$
The previous Rust Coat (BS) that was sold at market, sold for: 185$
185 / 2.61 = 71 keys (Note, not to long ago, one Rust Coat (BS) went for 217$ which is 83 keys~
71 keys (What I would consider to be market value) = (*185 which seems to be what people pay for keys on this forum)
71 * 185 = 13125
83* 185 = 15355
Now, neither of the ones who's been sold at market has been an "orange gem" but rather random float. Mine was (when I bought it) the rustiest / highest float - Karambit Rust Coat on the market. #1 lowest float. That may not be the case anymore (I'm not even sure how to check that) - but I'd assume it's still top 5 which would put its value above 99% of the ones on market.
I'm not saying it's gonna be worth insane amounts. Of course. It's a Rust Coat; and acquired taste. It's a play-skin. What I am saying however is that
1) It's worth more than market (which is about 14k fg)
2) If you were to check my steamprofile, I've had pages upon pages of people asking "Add me for knife trade" and traders being interested in the knife.
3) I've had 4 offers here ranging from 15.5k - 17k fg.
I'm not in a hurry to sell, and I'd never take marketprice for it. I've had it pricechecked at 90-95~ keys which is where I put my buy-out at.
I'd be happy to negotiate a price, but thus far, I've either had offers I've tried to make a deal on (the 2x 17k ones) - or low-ballers asking for a price-reduction. If a random Rust Coat is what you're looking for, take your 13 000 fg elsewhere and buy a random float.
Hope that clears it up.
