Tolls are a much smaller concern when you have to factor in parking for large cities. Taking a weekend in Chicago to see a few shows and check out a new hotel my gf's company acquired and it's like 40 bucks a day just to leave my car there without any access to it at all while it's parked. In Milwaukee, I have places I can leave it for free and I just uber everywhere, but I don't have any connections in Chicago :(
That shit I get. Seattle is fucking insane for parking, especially on game day. Most I've ever paid for parking is like $30 (Sounders), but my buddy Arther who makes pretty good money and will ALWAYS pay more for convenience (he's just a lazy fuck), paid like $120 for parking when he took his little sister to go see the Hawks play. He was right next to the stadium, but I couldn't fucking believe that shit. My parents happened to be in Seattle during a random game day this year too, and to park like a mile and a half away, it was still $50 or $60.
