Like a week before the movie came out some clothing company got huge public backlash because they had some black kid in a hoodie with a picture of a monkey on it. They got fucking completely shit on in the media and social media.

Movie comes out with an entire group of black people grunting and acting like gorillas and wearing gorilla masks and it's praised as this huge cultural movement film.

Like either that shit is racist or it isn't, you can't fucking flip flop on it.

I thought Raimi's Spiderman was solid. Third one sucked but there are very few trilogies that have three solid movies so it is understandable.
