Infinitity will help with cold immune, but won’t break them all.
If you are going to buy an infinity, not going lightning would be stupid...
I like lightning for MF (even without infinity) there are just way too many cold immunes for me to do countess and nith.
With my budget Mf sorc (lightning) and 200 mf I can do: countess, Andy, summoner, meph, shenk, nith all pretty easy/quick
