My friend yeawhatup (Marle) was on the opposing team with a level 30 pally who had fanaticism, and he decided to run up and kill me randomly for fun (which is why my response was "wow bm"). That Chainsaw guy stated "You need 150% DR to be immune to the effects of amp" which Marieusz disagreed with, and I think Marieusz is correct? How is he not?

0%DR -100%DR (amp) = -100% DR ... so you would need to stack 100% DR in order to negate the effects of amp.

I know it's true that when you have 50%DR, being amp'd will make you take triple damage, but even then would it not only take 100% DR to be immune to the effects of amp? 50%DR - 100%DR = -50% DR ... You are now taking triple damage vs being unamped. But if you add in +100%DR again..... you are back at +50%DR and the effects of amp are nullified totally?

So I feel like mariuesz was correct but please feel free to school me if I am wrong, it doesn't bother me to be incorrect and proven wrong at all.

Obviously I'm not one to side with marieusz, but I'm also not one to take any side that I don't agree with
