Theres no real way to fix this tho, in the NBA individual players have much bigger impacts then other leagues so a couple superstars can change a franchise. Unfortunately they don’t sprout up once in a while, things might change as the GMs start picking kids globally since the game has been having such success & popularity world wide in many different leagues. They could make longer rookie contracts and make it so that the organization who drafted you is able to offer more $$ than other teams (that might already be a thing, not sure) I agree in a 5 player sport it’s much harder to fix than 11v11 sports. But there needs to be a solution. There’s not even a point of watching NBA til the western conference finals roll around.
