Nba is pretty fucked in that sense, players meet up to form super teams so only way to be good is to sign FAs or to pick in the top 5 for 3-4 years in a row and pray to god those prospects pan out.


Basically if you aren’t top 5 you should be tanking, it’s pretty lame.

Theres no real way to fix this tho, in the NBA individual players have much bigger impacts then other leagues so a couple superstars can change a franchise. Unfortunately they don’t sprout up once in a while, things might change as the GMs start picking kids globally since the game has been having such success & popularity world wide in many different leagues.
