I can't put Curry at #1 while Westbrook and Kyrie are in the league. Curry's issue is his athleticism. If he was a better athlete, I think he'd play better defense, and he'd be a lock for #1. But for me it's a pick 'em between Russ and Kyrie @ #1. Bledsoe wouldn't be on anyone's radar if he hadn't left the Suns, and Wall was a top 1-5 PG for a lot of people not too long ago. If Ben Simmons counts, I'd probably have him in my top 10 despite his shooting. I'd probably make room for Dragic. I suspect that Kemba is moving up lists because of his All-Star appearance this year. Visibility is a big deal. I don't have a 1-10 list right now, but those are my thoughts.
Just gonna say that CP3 is finally getting some respect back after being traded. He has been the most consistently high-quality guard for the last 8,000 seasons. Again, visibility is helping his ranking.
14/10 post. My post answers the mystery, and I should say that I've listed Kemba before.
Dude Curry is clearly better then Westbrook and Kyrie.
Westbrook is reckless as fuck and almost always leads the league in turnovers and hucks up shots constantly. Westbrook needs the ball in his hands and constantly padding his stats. Just like last week or the week before he was bitching at Adams for not scoring on a pass because he wanted the triple double instead of Adams throwing it out for a wide open 3. Westbrook is not an elite defender and is to busy crying to the refs half the time to even get back on defense. Kyrie is no elite defender either and doesn't shoot better then Curry. Kyrie has only hit 40% from 3 in 2 seasons and barely hit that mark.
Curry is a superior shooter and passer.
You are acting like Westbrook and Kyrie are elite defenders which neither of them are and they can't be much better then Curry.
I'll easily take Curry or CP3 before I took Westbrook or Kyrie if I needed a pg on my team.
