Looking to make a comparison of what merc setup would be best based on calculated expected real dmg output by both me and him.

4 x 15/40 in an ebug/jewelers armor beats forti/treachery by a wide margin.

Enigma barbarian : suggestions above.
Non teleporting barbarian : Pride mercenary (the rest doesn't matter).

you get 2 extra ias bp, which is +22% dps
but you lose a lot of ed

if you go straight 160/60 + guilli 40/15 + rt 40/15, it's plain less dps than forty.
however you don't need all the ias, you can swap 1 jewel for a cham rune. Your merc has no resist so you have to lose another 40%ed for 15@. So you're actually losing 300+40-120=220ed
so it's 35% less dmg, but 22% more attack speed, and cbf
it could theorically be worth it, except you also lose thousands of defense, 150 (50) life, and take 25% more light dmg

the 22% extra attack speed and cbf help procing decrep

you can argue it's better, but really, if it is, it's not by much
