Did you setup your acc email ? If you did and tried the rename command you will receive and email which you have to confirm

i just setup my email few min's ago mby i have to w8 a while?

After you setup your email for your D2 account you need to verify your account though your email. Have you done that?

ahh haven't received a confirmation email yet do u get it instant?

Anything related to your D2 account now requires verification; changing email, adding email, changing character names etc
It should be instant or it can take some time. Check all your folders including spam folder.

Account recovery will require verification via link sent via email and then allow user to enter new password

when i login it just says ur email on record is [my email] but no confirmation link i try contact blizzard

Yes, contact Blizzard and open a Ticket; https://us.battle.net/support/en/
