I just ran it for the first time, the fans were loud as hell even during the initial windows installation period.
Have nothing running and the Motherboard is insanely hot, did I just get a bad unit or is this potentially a case of user error? My room is quite cold right now and the PC is set up in a well ventilated area etc.

Might actually be a faulty sensor or a lack of sensor, judging by your other temps. 115, 120, 122 and 128 are the usual values you'll see with a faulty or missing sensor for the motherboard value. If the motherboard was actually that hot, your other components would show it.

Mine always reads 115 no matter what.

Interesting, but the CPU was idling 60c and spiking to 100c+ as well, although I didn't get an SS of that.

Literally took me 40+ days to find this deal, then 2 weeks to receive it, and I just heard from others that got the same PC that they "ran out of replacements" and were issuing full refunds instead, which is not what I was hoping for... FML

what model? want to see cpu cooler clearance and airflow design

and maybe just need better cpu cooler or fans added if the case allows for it

The PC is an ASUS G11CD-B13, I haven't actually cracked the case open yet as I was just planning to take advantage of the warranty and didn't think it prudent to take any chances of voiding that, but if you need more details I can try to find them out for ya.
