i dont think you have to nor its super necessary. i just thought your ride will be smoother if you rev match. im still learning though.

It might save the life of your clutch a bit..

It still removes a lot of slip, takes a lot of stress off the tranny and lowers engine braking.

I think you’re thinking of double clutching...

I think on an Oem clutch econobox then it's not needed. More aggressive clutches then yes. After my stage 2 clutch you best be on your shit driving it.

I'm in the process of sending my Monster LT1-SC twin disk that's rated for 1000whp/1000wtq back to monster to have them upgrade it to a triple disk rated at 1500/1500.

I know, csb etc etc.

Softer pedal than stock... that's the beauty of multi disc clutches. High load pressure plate single disc clutches are the worst.

Nope it's the opposite haha. With double the surface area you need half the pressure plate load. I actually wish the triple was as stiff as the twin. It may be too soft.

you should try holding a clutch pedal on a semi. my newer cascadia isnt bad at all but our kenworth with a 6nz cat and 10 speed will test your strength for real especially when youre loading and waiting on a green light to move forward.

i think people are overthinking using a clutch in a factory vehicle where rev matching is completely unnecessary. its a good thing to know how to do because you never know when something might happen to the clutch fork and you cant do shit with the clutch pedal.

at OP you shouldnt need to give it throttle when you upshift but when you downshift you need to give it some. you just need to find out how many rpms your car needs to downshift. in a semi its somewhere around 500rpms but we also dont turn over 2k rpms
