Thanks Ghot, you’re always willing to help people and I really appreciate that.

I picked up that PSU today and got that nice $20 MiR

Now if only I could get better at cable management. I saw your PC from that dust thread... mine looks like a rats nest in comparison :( I try to run everything through the back wall, but it doesn’t work out well.

Cable management is a heck of a lot easier in a full tower case like mine. Just do your best. :)

/e My case is 24"H x 24"D x 10"W.

I had this happen recently

Pop it open and disconnect all the clips from the power supply to the boards

Reconnect

Voila?

Worked for me funny enough

Ok so new PSU came in and I hooked it up.

New issue. Nothing appears on screen - no splash or anything.

The TV and hdmi cable work fine, just used them with laptop.

Here’s what information I can give:
The LED lights on my mobo are on (4 Blue)
CAT6 line is plugged in and the light indicating connection is on.
My mouse and keyboard are not responsive/no lights. - I tried different USB ports - same result.

My CPU cooling fan is running.
My system/case fan is running.
I heard the hard drive spinning.
Cd drive works (woo hoo lol)

GFX card fan not running (although I don’t think it does unless under load) but the fans do jitter when I power off pc.

I double/triple checked connections.

:(
Thoughts?

Try using on-board graphics?

Reseat your gpu in a different lane if you can.

OP doesn't have onboard grfx.

Something that rarely happens, but does happen sometimes.... Might want to replace the CMOS battery. That's an old motherboard, it may be that the battery has finally died.
Also, double check that the monitor is still set to the CORRECT input cable type.

I popped out my ram and video card, and reinstalled them. Booted up!

Many thanks.
